OpenTable CEO Jeff Jordan Expected to Head for VC Firm

Jeff Jordan, former CEO of Internet restaurant reservation company OpenTable, is reportedly to head for Silicon Valley VC firm Andreessen Horowitz.

Jordan spoke to several Silicon Valley firms before deciding to join the Menlo Park firm founded by Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz, according to All Things Digital, citing unnamed sources.

Jordan, resigned from the company on Tuesday, will remain at OpenTable as the online restaurant reservation company’s chairman.

Chief Financial Officer Matthew Roberts will replace Jordan at San Francisco-based OpenTable, beginning June 1, and will join the company’s board of directors.
