Hewlett-Packard announced Tuesday afternoon that it has acquired Printelligent, a provider of managed print services. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Through this acquisition, HP will combine Printelligent’s infrastructure, software and trained workforce with its channel relationships, experience and broad base of services and offerings, to strengthen HP’s position in Managed Print Services.
"We’re reinforcing our commitment to our channel partners by bringing them a level of technology and experience that is unprecedented in the industry," HP imaging and printing group executive vice-president Vyomesh Joshi said.
Printelligent has clients in 728 U.S. cities and manages about million printed documents per year.
