HP Appoints Marty Homlish as Chief Marketing Officer

Hewlett-Packard Co. appointed Marty Homlish as an executive vice president and its chief marketing officer on April 19.

Homlish, who replaces Michael Mendenhall resigned in January, will be in charge of the technology company’s marketing efforts. He will start work at the Palo Alto, Calif.-based company on June 1 and will report directly to CEO Leo Apotheker.

Homlish previously worked at business software maker SAP AG. Homlish worked at SAP for over 10 years, serving as chief marketing officer and as president and CEO of SAP Global Marketing Inc.
