CyberAgent acquired 25% of mobile game maker EpicForce

Now you can see there are nine games of EpicForce on Appstore.

July 6 .2011  / CyberAgent, as a subsidiary of CyberAgent Ventures (Beijing) Investment Consulting Co., made yet another investment: this time, the CyberAgent acquired a 25% stake in mobile game maker EpicForce  Entertainment.

The detailed information of were not released, but CyberAgent was apparently interested in the fact that EpicForce is based in Hong Kong (meaning it’s close to the Chinese market) and that its games (see an overview here) were downloaded over 12 million times so far.

CyberAgent is investing in Chinese mobile and social game companies now. It had invested in Gfan.com (gfan.com is an Android community and app store).CyberAgent’s Ameba is the fourth largest mobile social game network in Japan.

The most famous game of  EpicForce is iFighter 1945 for iOS ($0.99 in the App Store). The company was established in 2008.
