LikeALittle Raises $5M Led by Former OpenTable CEO Jeff Jordan

LikeALittle (LAL) has raised $5 million in Series A round led by Andreessen Horowitz. LAL is an social network that originated with flirting on college campuses and is now trying to enable connections with any nearby people.

One interesting thing is that the funding was led by Jeff Jordan, the former OpenTable CEO who has now joined Andreessen Horowitz as its fifth general partner.

In explaining the LAL investment, Jordan said, "The central theme is connecting with people around you and enabling seamless communication with them." He also added that he liked LAL CEO Evan Reas’ product sense and his team’s speed of innovation.
