Google recently launched Hotel Finder to help people planning summer vacations in the U.S. whittle down their options.
Google’s Hotel Finder can find the ideal accommodation for a particular user based on a few different priorities, such as location and budget. For example, when searching for where to stay, the user can draw shapes around neighborhoods using a mouse rather than searching by individual addresses.
Hotel Finder simplifies comparative shopping. When users click on on a hotel, its full details pop up, including photos, Google Places reviews, pricing and other information.
Besides, users can build a shortlist of hotels they’d like to compare further. These results are marked with a red dot in the Google Maps view, and appear at the top of the page in the list view.
However, the tool is still in experimental mode, thus don’t expect it to work so perfectly just yet. Additionally, it’s only available for finding hotels in the United States at this time.
