Acer, maker of one of the top-sellers of PC netbooks, is cutting down its third quarter 2011 forecast for the number of notebooks it will ship.
The company will reduce its notebook shipment forecast from 6.4 miilon to 5.4 million yet.
Acer was said to have been too optimistic in the recent quarters, and shipped more netbooks to retail partners than they could sell.
